Yes, Keith and I celebrated 11 years yesterday! I woke up with donuts and a card for me and the girls (always a nice treat)! Then, Keith had to go to bed (he had to work again last night). The girls and I cleaned up and out, preparing for our new carpet next week, while daddy slept. We got flu shots (that's always a lovely event with madeline. Once again, I had to hold her down at the top, while the poor nurse held her bottom half and gave the shot)! Ugh...I always feel sorry for kiddos in the waiting room when Madeline's getting a shot. Reminds me of the part in Nemo where Darla comes to her Uncle's office to get Nemo. The fish rebel, and the scene from the waiting room perspective is hilarious!!!
After flu shots, we went to the pumpkin patch (note to self...there's a reason I've never bought pumpkins there before. My total was $41.25; for PUMPKINS). This is the first year that Madeline got into it though. She was hoppin all over the place picking up pumpkins and putting them on our cart. I didn't have the heart to put them back when I heard the dreaded total. Our last stop was Walmart (we won't talk about our total there). After we got home, the girls decorated their own pumpkin with crazy faces (once I find my camera, I'll post pics...they are so cute)!
Finally it was time to wake daddy and head to church. What an awesome night of worship and how blessed we were to be in God's house on our anniversary. Once we got home, we enjoyed anniversary cake and watched the girls dance in the living room, with only the ambiance of the fire's glow and soft holiday music! Good times:))
