Happy 40th to my Bestie!!!

My sweet Tara turned 40 and we celebrated last night! (This pic of our Tara and Kev Kev was taken 4 and 1/2 years ago when Maddie was born). Kev and Allison made yummy food, Tara and Adam provided loads of entertainment, and "I NEVER" wins the award for reasons that I won't mention on here.... (Jacky...is there anything you "never done?")

Seriously, God brought Tara into my life 10 years ago and how blessed I have been ever since. She is the truest of friends. We can go weeks withouth talking and it's like it was yesterday. She gives more than she ever takes. She speaks the truth, but does it in love. She listens intently and truly cares about what I say. There is not one ounce of meanness or fakeness in the girl. The phrase "what you see is what you get" was made for her.

My sweet friend, I love you so much. I am so blessed to be able to call you my best friend. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. My prayer is that God continues to richly bless your life as you continue to honor Him. Happy Birthday:)

March Madness

So, March is here and it's madness...madness at school, madness at home, madness in my yard, etc.... seriously, it's crazy!!!

Keith has been working on building us a custom 8 foot fence. When he's done, it will be the envy of the block. (I attached his fishing picture from March of 2007....bet he wishes he was fishin instead of building. My dad called today and even asked him to go fish but he stayed strong and stayed home. He's determined to get this fence finished in the next two days).

We found out Madeline has severe dog allergies, so Zeke has been an outside dog for 1 week and 2 days now. Next outside project will be a special dog run for him, a deck for him, and his own personal patio cover. (anything to keep him comfortable and happy and not get rid of him). For now, Maggy is staying inside but not allowed in bedrooms; I can already tell a difference in Madeline's allergies by just getting Zeke and all his hair out of the house. Makes me sad though:(
